There is hardly a place I can go on my property, it is not a place within reach. Six different brands currently represented by what I own, including an expensive Eton, the radio is not my best. This little (and I mean small) is the new line of Eton to be a whole new animal safe. His control, and the design is very user friendly. And the reception on all channels, such as the weather is very loud and clear. It is true that the figures for AM-FM is very small, like some other reviewers have mentioned, and make it difficult to match exactly. But it is something common, as expected for me in a radio so small. What sets this device apart from all others, for myself in my perception of price and solar energy. It is probably the most convenient time to the radio, I discovered that solar energy is big, small, or otherwise. Even if we could buy solar-powered calculators discounters for less than $ 10 per year, for some reason the time treated as the radio industry's highest solar technology something to appreciate in their more expensive units. My only other solar radio cost me over $ 60. The disadvantage is it possible that I should talk about this radio is that it does not take batteries. It would have been nice if they included this option. But it is not solar or wind power. This could be a significant and negative effect for some people who would be comfortable knowing they can just stick some batteries if all else fails. While 90% of solar energy is the time all that is needed, if he usually has a very dark place, or get lost in the wilderness, a wild place with this radio in a continuous cloud cover, ready to do a lot of crankin after all, good to see you last unit a very reasonable price that works with solar energy and quality of construction and design very well. I recommend the Eton of a portable unit that can be taken anywhere easily, effortlessly, fed, and gives a quality performance in a single package .... 141 of 142 people found this review helpful. Pleasantly surprised with the battery life by Mark Wagner This radio is an excellent radio for the price. No, it's an emergency radio award, but should work well for those seeking a base AM / FM / time with a choice of two sites and handle load. I bought mine a year ago and only occasionally used for the first month. Then he put on a shelf with limited light and sat for about six to eight months in about six weeks it dusted and it really worked for about an hour or so but for the hand crank. Later that day I sat in the front window where he could get lots of direct sunlight. A few days later I took him through the window and have used it a couple of hours every day since some of these days has been used for more than six hours in the basement. They did not need to be removed completely, but crank the total burden of minutes on a single play with him - for the record. Since then I have been on the outdoor deck that is exposed to normal daylight in the room without direct sunlight. The charging light does not light in this context, I expect not to do so. Sometimes I had to sit on the porch you hear when direct sunlight, but only about an hour or more every week. I like the idea of not having to buy batteries, and the convenience of knowing I always have a charged radio The lantern is minimal, but I would not expect more than an LED light. I have my 6-Cell D Mag light as I have a strong light source (luxury). Turn on the radio is a little bit.
